Baumgardner Retains Undisputed Championship

On 11 July at Madison Square Garden in New York City, 31-year-old American Alycia Baumgardner (16-1, 7 KOs) faced 38-year-old Spaniard Jennifer Miranda (12-1, 1 KO) for the third time. The undisputed super-featherweight crown was at stake.

The bout went the full ten rounds, with Baumgardner prevailing by unanimous decision: 98–92, 98–92, 97–93.

For Miranda this was her first appearance of 2025; in 2024 she strung together three decision victories. Baumgardner had last boxed in autumn 2024, when her bout with Delfine Persoon ended in a no-contest.
