In the early hours of August 4 in Los Angeles, USA, a bout took place between Congo’s Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) and 24-year-old American Jared Anderson (17-1, 15 KOs). In the very first round, Anderson was knocked down after a brutal uppercut followed by a series of blows. Despite this, Jared largely took the initiative in terms of the number of punches thrown. He attacked frequently, switched stances, and focused on body shots. Nevertheless, Bakole seemed unaffected by these strikes.
In the 5th round, Bakole sent his opponent to the canvas again, nearly knocking him out of the ring. This was followed by a third knockdown, and after a series of precise blows, the referee stopped the fight – TKO 5.
