Famed trainer Teddy Atlas has outlined a potential way for Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22 KOs) to defeat Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs) in their upcoming fight on August 3rd.
"If Ruiz hasn't turned into a shadow of himself, I don't see how Miller can win. Especially when you're talking about a fighter of such high caliber.
Both guys have motivation. I don't want to use this term because it sounds pointless, but both need to be hungry.
We've talked about Ruiz's habits and his weight... As far as I know, Miller weighed over 300 pounds in Saudi Arabia. That was not very good. So this is an interesting fight," said Atlas.
The Ruiz vs. Miller fight will take place on the undercard of the Crawford vs. Madrimov matchup. This will be Andy's first fight since 2022.
More about other undercard pairs has been discussed here.
