Atlas Reveals When Loma – Gervonta Fight Will Happen

American trainer and expert Teddy Atlas shared his thoughts on when the fight between WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) and IBF and IBO champion Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) should be organized.

«If this fight is going to happen, it needs to happen soon. The clock is ticking for Lomachenko.

He needs to pull out the red wire and the green wire without touching the blue wire – or it will blow everything up. This is what Lomachenko has done in the past: he has disarmed amazing punchers, champions of previous years. But now he has to do it against a guy with nitroglycerin in his gloves, a fighter who can do it all.

I still want to see it because Lomachenko has a chance to do something that would be fascinating to watch: go in and dismantle the bomb,» Atlas said.

Gervonta will have his next fight in early summer against Frank Martin. After Lomachenko's last victory, Davis tweeted that Vasyl would be next after Martin, but then deleted the tweet.
