Atlas: "Paul Stands to Lose More Than Tyson"

In a recent episode of THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas, the renowned boxing coach and analyst shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between blogger Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and former undisputed champion Mike Tyson.

"In my opinion, this is a very dangerous fight for Paul. I think it's premature – he could make a mistake, because, first of all, this fight gives him little other than money, and he's made a lot of money.

If Paul wins, everyone will say he beat a 58-year-old. And if he loses, everyone will say he lost to a 58-year-old man.

I think he stands to lose more than Tyson. Much more. I mean, no matter how much Tyson gets paid – he's going to make good money. He goes back to his life. He's done well. I believe his wife, obviously, is part of this, and they've done a good job getting Mike back on track," said Atlas.

The fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is set for July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event will be broadcast on Netflix. It is still unknown whether the match will be exhibition or a full-fledged fight.
