Arum Comments on Why It Didn't Work Out with Crawford

Promoter Bob Arum shared whether he regrets ending his collaboration with Terence Crawford:

"No. Terence Crawford is a tremendous talent. We've always said that. The question is whether you can match his economic demands with real market attractiveness. We couldn't do that. We lost a lot of money promoting his fights. I wish him luck. But I'm not ready, and my company is not ready to take such a risk because, at least with Terence, it never worked out economically. Even though his performances were brilliant. They still are," said Arum.

Crawford's bout against Spence was organized by Premier Boxing Promotions after Terence Crawford's collaboration with Top Rank ended. The PPV broadcast of the Crawford vs. Spence match attracted 700 thousand viewers in the American market, and an additional $21 million was earned from ticket sales for the fight.
