Arum: "Lomachenko Is Getting Older"

Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, asserts that the fight between the former champion in three weight classes, Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs), and the former undisputed champion, Australian George Kambosos Jr. (21-2, 10 KOs), will be competitive.

"I think it's going to be a very competitive fight because Lomachenko is getting older. He's been in boxing for many years, had about 400 amateur fights, and that takes its toll. Kambosos is active and comparatively young. It's going to be a great battle," said Arum.

The Lomachenko vs. Kambosos fight is scheduled for May 12th in Australia, with the IBF lightweight title (up to 135 lbs) on the line.
