Bob Arum Almost Across the Finish Line with Teofimo Fight Negotiations

Promoter Bob Arum has confirmed that Teofimo Lopez's next opponent will be American Jamaine Ortiz:

"Working on the Teofimo and Ortiz fight. Almost finalized the work on it. Keyshawn Davis, a promising young star, will box with a strong opponent - Jose Pedraza in the undercard. I think our partners will use February 8 as a platform to launch many talented boxers. Vargas's son Emiliano is also on the card; he's a great prospect. Abdullah Mason will be there as well. Lots of good, young fighters who will make a breakthrough in 2024."

"The week leading up to the Super Bowl is great because everyone is at the venue hosting the event. We have a great platform for Teofimo during Super Bowl week. Every big personality in the sports world will be there when Lopez defends the belt. It will be a way to promote Teofimo in big, massive fights throughout 2024," Arum said for Fight Hub.
