Aram Faniyan to Defend WBO Global Title on January 25

Ukrainian WBO Global junior welterweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Aram Faniyan (25–2, 6 KOs) is set to defend his title against Argentina’s Nicolas Jara (13–6, 6 KOs).

The boxing event will be held on January 25 at the Sports Palace in Kyiv, Ukraine.

In August, Aram Fanyan scored a stoppage victory over Juan Antonio Rodriguez. In November, Nicolas Jara stopped Jeronimo Sacco by first-round technical knockout.

The main goal of the evening is to raise funds to assist veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian War—who will also be participating in the boxing show—and to support charitable organizations working to return children who are illegally held in Russia and in temporarily occupied territories.
