Ex-world champion Anthony Joshua may decide on a new opponent in the near future.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has said he is ready to sign a deal with anyone in the top 15 boxing rankings. However, according to Hearn, the probability of a fight with Tyson Fury is extremely small.
"Otto Wallin, Joe Joyce - we are considering them. In general, we can have a match with anyone from the top 15. Joshua is open to any opponent."
“Fury? No. It seems to me that this fight will not happen."
We will remind that another contender for a match with the British super heavyweight is the 39-year-old Chinese Zhang Zhilei.
In August, Joshua lost a split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Anthony has been in talks with WBC champion Tyson Fury about holding a fight at the end of 2022. However, the parties could not agree on the final details of the contract.
