London, July 7 - In what promises to be a thrilling contest, British boxing titans Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) have agreed to meet once more in the ring. The news was officially announced by their promotional company, Matchroom Boxing.
The pair first squared off back in December 2015, a contest that saw Joshua clinch victory by knocking out Whyte in the seventh round. This marked Whyte's first professional defeat.
Interestingly, both fighters recently faced off against American heavyweight Jermaine Franklin. Whyte managed to edge out Franklin by a majority decision in November 2022. On the other hand, Joshua emerged victorious with a unanimous decision in April this year, snapping his two-fight losing streak against Oleksandr Usyk.
