On the night of August 11 in Albuquerque, USA, Mexican IBF featherweight champion (up to 57.2 kg) Luis Alberto Lopez (30-3, 17 KOs) defended his title against American Angelo Leo (25-1, 12 KOs).
As expected, the fight was thrilling and eventful. The fighters exchanged numerous punches, with Leo effectively using his reach to keep the champion at bay and repeatedly landing punches that made Lopez’s head snap back.
In the tenth round, Leo delivered a left hook that instantly knocked out the champion. This knockout is a strong contender for the best knockout of 2024.

Leo stated he is ready to face anyone, including Rafael Espinoza, who also holds a title in the featherweight division, or Naoya Inoue if he decides to move up a weight class.
