Andy Ruiz Could Join Zuffa Boxing: Insider Advises to Stay Tuned

American journalist Abraham Gonzalez, a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), has reported that former unified heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz Jr. might become part of the premier boxing promotion Zuffa Boxing.

“I also heard that former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz might go to Zuffa Boxing. Keep an eye on that to see if it happens,” Gonzalez wrote.

The 36-year-old Andy Ruiz (35-2-1, 22 KOs) has not stepped into the ring since 2024, when he fought to a draw against Jarrell Miller. In that bout, the Mexican suffered a hand injury and has been undergoing recovery since then.
