Former heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz (35-2-1, 22 KOs) has thrown down the gauntlet to Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs), offering to step in after Paul accused Canelo Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) of ducking a fight.
"I don’t mind throwing down, bro. Let me know—it would be an honor for my fans and my Mexican people", wrote Ruiz.
Ruiz last fought in August, when his bout against Jarrell Miller ended in a draw. Meanwhile, Jake Paul defeated boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in November.
