Former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz and Croatia's Filip Hrgovic will fight for the interim heavyweight title at the request of the IBF. Representatives of both boxers are already negotiating.

We will remind that now the IBF title belongs to Oleksandr Usyk. Earlier, the IBF canceled its order on the mandatory defense of Usyk's title against challenger Hrhgovych.

In August, Hrgovych defeated Zhang Zhilei from China and earned the status of a mandatory contender for the IBF world title.

Also earlier, the WBC approved a fight between Andy Ruiz and another former champion, Deontay Wilder.

In his last fight, Ruiz defeated Luis Ortiz by unanimous decision. At the same time, Andy knocked down his opponent three times. After the fight, Ruiz challenged Deontay Wilder to a face-to-face fight.
