Former two-division world champion Andre Ward has shared his thoughts on the heavyweight clash (over 200 lbs/90.7 kg) between internet sensation and boxer Jake Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) and former undisputed world champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs).
"I’m picking Mike Tyson because he’s ‘Iron Mike.’ Early on, Mike will have the advantage, and Jake needs to be cautious, as Tyson still packs a punch and will be fresh. The longer the fight goes, the more it will favor Jake, as age will start to show and reflexes aren’t what they used to be.
Jake Paul wants to knock Mike Tyson out. He wants to claim he’s done what only a few in history have managed. People will talk about Tyson’s age, but Jake doesn’t care. If he can put him on the canvas and knock him out, he’s going to do it," Ward said during an interview with All The Smoke.
The highly anticipated bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will take place in the early hours of November 16 in Arlington, USA. The result will be added to both fighters’ official records, and the event will be streamed live on Netflix.
