Ukrainian boxer Serhii Derevyanchenko's coach, Andre Rozier, has expressed assurance in his charge's triumph in a potential rematch against Mexican boxer Jaime Munguia.
Rozier declared, "I don't want Serhii to knock him out. Sure, he could land a punch that sends Jaime to the canvas, but that's not our aim. We want Derevyanchenko to control the fight and dominate his adversary. We are certain to win the rematch."
The coach also voiced his conviction that Serhii Derevyanchenko won their previous bout against Munguia and had secured enough rounds to claim victory over his opponent.
It has been reported earlier that Derevyanchenko is insistent on arranging a rematch with Munguia, a proposal the Mexican has accepted for another bout.
In their last encounter, Ukrainian boxer Serhii Derevyanchenko was defeated by a judges' decision against Munguia. After 12 rounds, all three judges awarded the victory to the Mexican with scores of 115:112, 114:113, and 114:113. The defeat marked Derevyanchenko's fifth career loss, while the undefeated Munguia celebrated his 42nd professional ring win.
