Anderson Ready for a Fight Against Wilder

24-year-old American Jared Anderson (16-0, 15 KOs) says he's ready to face 38-year-old compatriot, former champion Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs), at any moment.

"I realized that I need to be a boxer 24/7, not just when a fight is approaching. My plan is to have my money work for me after boxing. I've become very business-oriented. I want to work without working physically. My plan is to make as much money as possible. I'm very commercial. I like being a showman when I step into the ring, and I'm fully focused on that. I'm ready to fight Wilder tomorrow. I respect Deontay, he has a crazy punch. I'm too versatile of a boxer, and I plan to win in great style," said Anderson.

Anderson currently has a different opponent lined up. On the night of April 14th, he will meet former cruiserweight (up to 90.7 kg) Ryad Merhi (32-2, 26 KOs), who outboxed Olympic champion Tony Yoka in his last fight. Wilder last fought in December 2023, losing to Joseph Parker by decision.
