American heavyweight boxer Jared Anderson (17-0, 15 KOs) expressed dissatisfaction with his recent bout against Belgian Riad Merhy (32-3, 26 KOs), which took place in the USA on the night of April 14th.
"It was a terrible night of boxing. I wanted to give the fans a better show, but what can you do when your opponents don't want to come out and fight the way you fight them. I needed to make some changes. I made some mistakes, took a few hits. Merhy didn't seem to want to fight at all, so I shouldn't have been hit," Anderson stated. The 10-round fight ended in a unanimous decision victory for Anderson.
