Amir Khan Names the Fight That Would Bring Him Back to the Ring

Former world champion at Super Lightweight, Britain’s Amir Khan, admitted he could return to the ring – but only for the right challenge. And for him, that challenge is Manny Pacquiao.

“One hundred percent I would take that fight. We’re both past our peak now. But it’s always been talked about. That would motivate me to step back in the ring,” Khan said.

Khan (34-6, 21 KOs), 38, last fought in the winter of 2022 when he was stopped by Kell Brook. Pacquiao (62-3-8, 39 KOs) most recently stepped into the ring in July 2025, fighting to a draw against world champion Mario Barrios.
