Amir Khan Names the Most Memorable Fight of His Career

Former world champion Amir Khan has revealed the fight he considers the most memorable of his career.

"The most memorable fight for me was against Andriy Kotelnik.

It was my first world title fight, and I had always dreamed of becoming a champion. Yes, it wasn’t a full world title, but it still held great significance, and I won it at 22 years old.

I earned it, and I’ll always remember that battle. Later, I fought Marcos Maidana and claimed the WBA title, as he was the number one contender, and then Zab Judah to win the IBF title.

World titles are world titles, and people need to understand the difference between them. They’ll always be a part of my life," Khan shared.

Khan defeated Kotelnik by unanimous decision in this memorable bout.
