Amanda Serrano to Face Erika Cruz in Rematch

Puerto Rican WBA and WBO featherweight champion Amanda Serrano will defend her titles in a rematch against Mexican Erika Cruz.

The 10-round bout will take place on January 3 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Amanda Serrano (47-4-1, 31 KOs) and Erika Cruz (18-2-1, 4 KOs) previously met in February 2023, when Serrano won by unanimous decision, becoming the undisputed featherweight champion (up to 57.2 kg / 126 lbs).

Serrano is currently coming off two consecutive losses to Katie Taylor, while Cruz last fought in May, stopping Maricruz Rodriguez by technical knockout in the sixth round.
