Alvarez and Ryder locked eyes before the fight

The reigning undisputed super middleweight world champion, Saul Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs), is slated to take on the mandatory WBO contender, John Ryder (32-5, 18 KOs), in his next bout.

The showdown between the Mexican and British fighters is scheduled for May 6th at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara.

On the eve of the fight, the two adversaries came face-to-face and engaged in the customary stare-down.
