"I Am Your Nightmare": Alimkhanuly Threatens Adames

IBF and WBO middleweight champion (up to 72,6 kg) from Kazakhstan, Janibek Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10 KOs), has addressed the new WBC champion of his weight class, Carlos Adames (23-1, 18 KOs).

"When he was not a champion, he wanted to fight me. But once he became champion, he disappeared. Carlos Adames, I told you, I am now your nightmare," wrote Alimkhanuly.

Previously, the boxers had argued on Twitter about the fight. Adames claimed he was not afraid to fight Janibek, who then called for a contract to be sent.

Subsequently, Adames was upgraded from the status of "interim" to full WBC champion.
