Ali's Grandson Overcomes First Career Loss

Muhammad Ali's grandson, American middleweight (up to 72,6 kg) boxer Nico Ali Walsh (9-1, 5 KOs), has bounced back after the first loss of his career.

In his tenth professional fight, Ali Walsh faced American Charles Stanford (7-6, 4 KOs). The bout went the distance of six rounds, with the judges awarding Walsh the victory – twice at 60-54 and once at 59-55. UD 6.

In August 2023, Nico Ali lost for the first time in his career – by split decision in a match against Sonny Acala (7-1). Following this, he fought in December 2023 and defeated Frenchman Noel Lefargue, though that bout did not count towards his professional record.

Nico Ali Walsh made his debut in 2021. In his first five fights, he secured four victories by knockout.
