Ali to Enter WWE Hall of Fame!

Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is set to be inducted into another Hall of Fame. Currently, the former heavyweight champion is a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. It has now been announced that he will also enter the Hall of Fame of the world's leading wrestling promotion, WWE.

On June 26, 1976, at the Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo, Ali participated in the exhibition match "The War of the Worlds" against WWE Hall of Famer, the Japanese wrestler Antonio Inoki. The confrontation was held under special rules and ended in a draw after 15 rounds.

The event attracted 32,000 fans at the venue, and the match was also broadcast on closed-circuit television to nearly 33,000 viewers at Shea Stadium in Queens, New York.

This was Ali's only appearance in wrestling as a competitor. However, he was later invited to serve as a special guest referee.
