Alex Krassyuk Discusses Negotiations for Fight Against Dubois

Alex Krassyuk, the promoter of WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF world champion Oleksandr Usyk, commented on the negotiations surrounding the upcoming fight against WBA belt contender, Daniel Dubois.

Krasiuk explained that the organization has set a deadline for the end of negotiations at the beginning of May. If the parties fail to reach an agreement by then, promotional bidding will begin.

"That’s what we’re working on right now. I spoke with George Warren yesterday and this morning, and we’ll be talking tomorrow as well. We’ll try to find a solution. The difference between the talks with Fury and Dubois is that in the second case, the fight organized by the governing body (WBA).

So if we do not find a solution and the contract is not signed by the end of the term, then there will be promotional auctions, the winner of which will organize the fight.

Everything is very simple. We have a deadline of May 3 from the WBA. If we do not reach an agreement by that time, promotional auctions will be announced.
