Against Usyk, Fury Will Be the Lightest in His Career

John Fury, father of WBC heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), stated that his son will be the lightest in his career for the fight against WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).

The lowest weight Tyson has ever had was 245.5 pounds (111.35 kg) before the fight against Vinny Maddalone in July 2012. In his bout against Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015, Fury weighed 247 pounds (112 kg).

The fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Recently, there was a conflict between the Usyk and Fury camps. John Fury headbutted Stanislav Stepchuk, but in the end, he ended up with a cut himself.
