Promoter Boxxer has officially announced a fight between British super lightweight (up to 63.5 kg) Adam Azim (12-0, 9 KOs) and Kazakhstan’s Sergey Lipinets (18-3-1, 13 KOs).
The bout, with the IBO title on the line, will take place on February 1 at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, and will be broadcast live by Sky Sports.
"The speed machine Adam Azim is firing on all cylinders as he faces world-class fighter Sergey Lipinets for the IBO super lightweight title," stated the promotional company.
In 2024, Azim fought twice, winning both bouts by stoppage: in February, he dismantled Enock Poulsen (14-1, 5 KOs) in the fifth round, and in October, he knocked out Ohara Davies (25-4, 18 KOs) in the eighth.
In May, Sergey Lipinets secured a unanimous decision victory over Robbie Davies (24-5, 15 KOs).
