Abdullaev Withdraws from Azim Fight Due to Visa Issues

The planned fight between British IBO Super Lightweight Champion Adam Azim and Russia’s Zaur Abdullaev has been canceled, reports The Ring.

The bout was scheduled for November 15 on the undercard of the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn rematch. However, Abdullaev withdrew due to visa complications and decided to halt his training camp.

According to reports, Azim will still compete on the card, with a new opponent to be announced soon.

In February, Adam Azim (13-0, 10 KOs) defeated Sergey Lipinets by ninth-round technical knockout.

Zaur Abdullaev (20-2, 12 KOs) last fought in May, losing a unanimous decision to Raymond Muratalla.
