Hearn's Heavy-Hitter Plans: Matchroom vs. Golden Boy in the Ring

Promoter Eddie Hearn's got a fight night vision, pitting Matchroom Boxing against Golden Boy Promotions:

"They're stacked with top-notch fighters. And so are we. We could whip up a blockbuster card.

Topping the bill, hopefully, we'll seal the deal on Ryan Garcia vs. Devin Haney this week. Then there's Jaime Munguia throwing down with Edgar Berlanga – pure dynamite. Virgil Ortiz could enter the ring with one of our middleweight aces, Israil Madrimov, or Conor Benn. Or maybe square Conor Benn off against Alexis Rocha in the welterweight class.

Don't forget Darius Fulghum in the mix. With our middleweight roster, we're talking a slew of slugfests. But losing to Oscar is a tough pill to swallow, leaving us licking our wounds.

Remember at the WBC bash last week? Bob Arum was pitching a Top Rank vs. PBC night to the PBC brass.

Fans dig these mega-matchups. We could easily roll out 7 or 8 bouts with the Golden Boy and Matchroom squads. Since we're both DAZN players, it's a perfect match," Hearn said.

Earlier, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren shook on a 5-on-5 tournament face-off between their promotional players, Matchroom and Queensberry.
