51-year-old Zsolt Erdei announces ring return

Former two-division world champion Zsolt Erdei (34-1, 18 KOs) has announced his return to the ring.

The 51-year-old Hungarian did not reveal details of his next fight but confirmed it will take place at the end of 2025.

“In recent days, a video from one of my training sessions leaked online and was viewed by many people. A lot of them asked me what it was — now I can confirm: I’m really training. At the end of the year, I will return to the ring as a fighter for a serious organization! I hope you’re as excited as I am! You’ll soon learn more details,” Erdei wrote.

Erdei last fought on March 8, 2014, defeating Georgia’s Shalva Jomardashvili by unanimous decision.
