2 boxers who will reveal the essence of Shakur. Father Haney reveals names.
Bill Haney, the father and trainer of former undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney, named two boxers who could potentially challenge the undefeated WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson:
"There are two guys in the world who could completely expose the essence of Shakur. It's Gervonta and Devin," said Haney to ThaboxingVoice.
Shakur's latest bout took place on November 17, ending in victory over Edwin De Los Santos. In that fight, Stevenson became the WBC lightweight champion and a champion in the third weight class.
Devin Haney will face Regis Prograis for the WBC belt on December 9. After this bout, Devin will officially vacate all his lightweight titles.
