100 career losses: a unique record set on the Parker–Wardley undercard

On the undercard of the heavyweight clash between 33-year-old New Zealander Joseph Parker and 30-year-old Briton Fabio Wardley, interim champions of the WBO and WBA respectively, British prospect Hassan Ishaq (2-0, 2 KOs) faced his 33-year-old compatriot Jake Pollard (1-100, 0 KOs).
For Pollard, this defeat marked the 100th loss of his professional career. Remarkably, it was already his 17th fight of the current year. Throughout his entire journey in the sport, he has been stopped early only six times.
Pollard reportedly has three more fights scheduled ahead. His lone career victory came in 2023, when he won a four-round bout on the judges’ scorecards.
