Teofimo Lopez Insists on Nine-Figure Deal for Boxing Return

Teofimo Lopez, a two-division world champion, has expressed that he will only consider reviving his boxing career if he's guaranteed a nine-figure, multi-fight contract, according to Boxing Social.

"The only way I come back is a multi fight, nine figure deal. People misunderstood what I mean, it’s not just one fight. I’m looking at three to five years, or a six to eight fight deal with a network," Lopez elaborated.

The fighter went on to clarify that his primary concern is safeguarding his family's future and that he is prepared to embrace the risks inherent in a boxing comeback. "I’ll sacrifice my greatness for it, as long as my family is going to be secured after. That’s what really matters to me. I fed up everybody’s plans, as it should be. And that’s the greatest feeling in the world. Not just saying you’re retired, but fing up everyone else’s plans as well," Lopez concluded.
