Renowned boxing expert and insider Dan Rafael reported that the Lomachenko-Haney fight garnered 150,000 paid broadcasts. Considering the price of each broadcast at $60, the pay-per-view revenue amounted to approximately $9 million, a portion of which will be received by both fighters.

Around 14,500 tickets were sold for the Lomachenko-Haney match. Notably, ticket prices ranged from $60 to $2000. Experts highlight that the total revenue from ticket sales reached a seven-figure sum, although it was not exceedingly high. Additionally, profits from advertising, foreign broadcast rights, and sales of boxing merchandise were not taken into account.

The fight between Lomachenko and Haney, which took place on the night of May 21 in Las Vegas, concluded with the victory of the American. After 12 rounds, the judges awarded the American boxer a victory with scores of 116:112, 115:113, 115:113. The decision received backlash from the sporting community, who deemed it unfair. Lomachenko's manager, Egis Klimas, announced their intention to protest the referee's verdict and called on the WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF to maintain Lomachenko's status as a mandatory contender in their respective rankings, which would facilitate a rematch with Haney.
