Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, has responded to criticism regarding his upcoming fight with WBC heavyweight titleholder, Tyson Fury.
Ngannou acknowledges why many people in the boxing world question the fight but advises them to simply accept the situation.
In an interview with talkSPORT, the Cameroonian fighter stated, "In this case I would not say these are haters, they are right. OThey have the guy on one side who is top of the sport and on the other side they have a guy who they have never seen in a boxing match, so there is a question."
Ngannou also recognizes that some people in the boxing world may be disappointed by this fight, as many boxers have dreamt of being in his position. He advises everyone to stay calm and accept the situation.
