Christian Mbilli and Jaime Munguía in Negotiations for a Fight

French interim WBC Super Middleweight champion Christian Mbilli and Mexican contender Jaime Munguía are in negotiations for a fight targeted for the first quarter of 2026, reports The Ring.

In September, Christian Mbilli (29-0-1, 24 KOs) fought Lester Martinez, with the bout ending in a split draw.

Jaime Munguía (45-2, 35 KOs) last stepped into the ring in May, when he defeated Bruno Surace in their rematch. After the fight, the Mexican failed a drug test, but in September he was cleared when the result was ruled a false positive.
