Tursunov and Utria Reach WBC Grand Prix Final at Super Lightweight

On October 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the semifinals of the WBC Grand Prix took place, featuring four divisions: Featherweight, Super Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight.

In the Super Lightweight division (up to 63.5 kg), the semifinal results were as follows:

– Mujibillo Tursunov (9-0, 2 KOs) defeated Danylo Lozan (15-1, 9 KOs) by majority decision (MD) over 6 rounds;

– Carlos Utria (13-0, 11 KOs) scored a first-round TKO against Ntethelelo Nkosi (10-3, 5 KOs).

Mujibillo Tursunov and Carlos Utria will now meet in the WBC Grand Prix final at Super Lightweight.
