Robeisy Still Awaiting Espinoza's Team to Fulfill Their Promise

Two-time Olympic champion in the amateurs and former world champion in the professionals, Cuban Robeisy Ramirez (13-2, 8 KOs), has called out his former opponent, Mexican Rafael Espinoza (24-0, 20 KOs). Ramirez responded to promoter Sebastian Fundora's statement that they promised Tim Tszyu a rematch and intend to keep their word.

"It would be good if Rafael Espinoza and his team kept their word and did the same," Ramirez wrote on Twitter.

Espinoza and Ramirez fought in December 2023. Rafael won by a majority decision, having been knocked down in the fifth round. Espinoza became the WBO featherweight champion (up to 57.2 kg) as a result of this fight.
