Reporter: Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia Have Agreed to a Rematch

According to Ring Magazine reporter Cynthia Conte, WBC junior welterweight champion “in recess” Devin Haney (31–0, 15 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (24–1, 20 KOs) have come to terms for a rematch.

“A very reliable source informed me that Devin Haney officially withdrew his lawsuit against Ryan Garcia, provided Ryan agrees to VADA testing. Garcia agreed to VADA, and the rematch is on!” Conte wrote.

In their first meeting back in April of last year, Garcia defeated Haney by judges’ decision. However, that result was later annulled due to a failed doping test by Ryan, and the fighter received a one-year suspension.
