Tony Ferguson Makes Boxing Debut With Stoppage Victory

Former UFC interim champion Tony Ferguson made his professional boxing debut on August 30. His opponent was Filipino-British influencer Nathaniel Bustamante, better known as Salt Papi.

The bout took place at Misfits Boxing 022 in Manchester, UK. After two difficult rounds, Ferguson turned up the pressure and forced the referee to stop the fight — TKO 3.

This was Ferguson’s first-ever professional boxing match. In MMA, he has not won since 2019. Salt Papi had won his previous two fights heading into the contest.
