Teofimo Lopez in Talks for Title Unification

WBO junior middleweight champion Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs) is currently in negotiations for a bout against American IBF champion Richardson Hitchins (19-0, 7 KOs) in the same weight class.

This fight is intended to pave the way for a potential showdown with Jaron Ennis, a prospect previously mentioned by Turki Alalshikh.

In 2024, Lopez had two fights – he secured victories over Jemayne Ortiz and Steve Claggett by decision. Hutchins claimed his title last year with a judges’ decision win over Liam Paro. Lopez has also vowed to “finish” Devin Haney once and for all, and Haney fired back in response.
