John Fury Names the Most Promising Heavyweight Prospect

John Fury, father of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, shared his thoughts on who he believes is the most promising rising star in the heavyweight division.

“The one to really keep an eye on is Agit Kabayel. He’s a dangerous guy. I like what he does — calm, composed, collected. He takes a shot, gets off the canvas, and comes back to win.

Out of all the new heavyweights, Kabayel is the one to watch. Guys like Joe Parker — that’s the old school. They had their shot. Their time has passed.

Kabayel is my pick, and I think he can go on to compete with the best,” said Fury.

In his last three fights, Kabayel defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez, and Zhilei Zhang — all by stoppage.
