Janibek on the Failed Doping Test: “I always support clean sport”

According to sources cited by The Ring, Kazakhstan’s WBO and IBF Middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly returned positive results for performance-enhancing drugs. The boxer responded to the reported test findings.

Alimkhanuly’s next fight was scheduled for December 6 in the United States. It was supposed to be a unification bout against WBA champion Erislandy Lara.

Whether the fight will go ahead remains unclear.
