Zhilei Zhang Opens Restaurant in the U.S.: Here’s What’s on the Menu

Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang has announced the opening of his restaurant, Three Kingdoms BBQ, in the Times Square district of New York City, USA.

The restaurant offers mini-grills at each table, allowing guests to cook meat to their own preference.

The venue is launched in partnership with Peter Song, a restaurateur behind several Michelin-recommended establishments.

The name of the restaurant is inspired by the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which tells the story of legendary warriors celebrated for their loyalty, courage, and brotherhood. Zhang hopes to share a piece of Chinese culture with New Yorkers through this concept.

In late February 2025, Zhilei Zhang suffered a sixth-round knockout loss to Agit Kabayel. Since then, there have been no concrete talks regarding his next opponent.
