WBA May Revisit Jake Paul’s Place in Its Rankings

The World Boxing Association (WBA) is considering reversing its move to slot American influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) into the heavyweight top-15, The Ring reports.

The issue will be addressed at the WBA’s upcoming European Congress in Madrid, scheduled for 15–18 July.

Paul was installed at No. 14 in the WBA’s cruiserweight ratings after his 28 June victory over Julio César Chávez Jr. Detailed stats from that bout are available at the link.
