Warren on Fury: No YouTubers, Only Real Boxing Against Makhmudov

Frank Warren, the head of Queensberry Promotions, addressed whether former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is open to bouts against YouTubers.

“Tyson made it clear at the end of last year that he wants to come back and fight in the spring. And there is a lot of work going on right now. He is fighting April 11 against Makhmudov. That is a good comeback fight.

He is a good fighter, he has a good record, and it would be a great fight for Tyson to shake off the rust.

Makhmudov is a big guy. It’s a tough fight for him, but Tyson said he doesn't want to fight any YouTubers or anyone like that. He wants a real fight, and he got one,” Warren stated.

The Fury vs. Makhmudov bout will take place on April 11 in Great Britain. The event will be broadcast by Netflix.
