Stephen Fulton Misses Weight, Won’t Be Eligible for Foster’s Title

On December 6 at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, USA, WBC Super Featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster (23-3, 12 KOs) is set to face Stephen Fulton (23-1, 8 KOs).

At the weigh-in ahead of the fight, Fulton reportedly failed to make the 58.96 kg (130 lbs) limit, coming in at 59.87 kg (132 lbs).

As a result, Stephen will not be eligible to win the title. If he wins, the WBC Super Featherweight belt would become vacant. The fight has not been canceled, and Fulton is required to pay a fine.
