Shakur on Davis–Paul Winner: “He’ll Do It Very Easily”

WBC Lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson has weighed in on the chances of WBA titleholder Gervonta Davis in his upcoming clash against heavyweight boxer and influencer Jake Paul. The fight is officially set for November 14.

“I’m not surprised. When Gervonta fought Roach, Jake Paul was at that fight. He told you guys he was going to fight someone like Jake Paul, so it’s not surprising to me.

Size is going to play some role in the fight. If I were thinking like Tank, I’d probably just go in there and try to outbox him. Use my knowledge and boxing IQ against him. I see Gervonta simply outboxing him and making it look very easy,” Stevenson said.

The showdown between Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) and Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and will be broadcast on Netflix.
